    Because I waited for the good coach to teach me to drive,it spent a long time. Finally, I learned to drive yesterday. It was the first time I drove in my life. I was so excited.

   The training method here is different from Chinese because there are no special place for you to train. Once you train you should drive in regular road. I was very nervous when I saw person or car in front of me. And I saw a squirrel in the road. Fortunately it ran away when I planed to brake.

    In the training process, how to control the steering wheel is a big problem. At the first time even I didn't know I should turn the steering wheel  back after I turn it .When I was training, Some times I turned it too much, sometimes not enough. And faced same thing when I practiced how to brake. I was so nervous, stared at the front of the road, clenched the steering. I can't see anything else, and some times I forgot to use the indicate light when I turned.
   Later, I drove in a very busy road in a storm by mistake. I hardly saw anything. At that time my coath was nervous too because I was the first time to drive, the road was very busy, the weather was bad. The first practice like a adventrue.

Thank you. I think it's a good choice too. It's better than only study by myself. I'll join a course which to help us to get a certificate. Exam can push me study it more quickly.

    I made no progress in learning English. Everything seems in the same level: writing, listening, speaking.
     When I talked about this, my husband always said it was because my reading is too less. I should learn from the books. Otherwise I always translate Chinese to English directly.
     In another hand, I am too shy to speak to others. In fact, I have the chances to speak English such as playing in the playground. Usually I just say hi. Sometimes they talked with me, but I couldn't catch it. And sometimes when I spoke to them, it was not a sentence at all, just some words together.
    Last weekend I went to shopping with my friend. When the sales clerk said hi, she spoke a lot of things to them. And she told me I should say more with them. If I speak more then I'll improve more quickly. However, I always think my English is too poor to speak with others.

Don't be shy when you speak, and at the same time, you should grab every chance to learn how to say when anyone else is speaking.

    I live in an apartment which just have public washing machine. If you want to wash you clothes you should pay $1.75 for washing or $1.5 for drying. I never use it before because I think the public machine is dirty. We bought a washing machine and installed it quietly. The machine is small but I think it's more clean. We used it for about 4 months.
    However. The sunshine cannot be in the room. The cloths dry without sunshine every time. Sometimes my dughter came out in spots. We don't know why although we try many ways to avoid it. This time my husband think it might because the cloths cann't met the sunshine at all.
    we used the public machine to dry the cloths. I don't know if it is useful. It was the first time my husband went to the public wasing room. He found the washing machine was so big. We can wash once time instead of washing a couple of times in our own small washing machine, especially for the bedding or sofa cover. But I still think the public one is dirty. What should I do?
    But we don't hesitate at using the public dryer because the high temprature can kill virus.

Now I  spend   4  hours  on   learning  English  every  day! I  think  English just  a  language,if I  could read , write ,listen  and  speak  English every hour, I should make a progress  every day! Do  you  agree!

Today there was a BBQ in the office building. Every person who works in the building can join it. There were some vegetable salads, BBQ meats, fruits, cookies and so on.  They said it was not as good as before. All are saving the money include the building management.  

There were 24 tables in the building extended balcony. Our colleagues sat together. Some persons played the music in the front. Some persons wear the masks to join the BBQ.  Another activity was prize draw. Our boss got one, 25 dollars. The highest one was $400.  

It’s too hot to sit under the sun without any shelter. That’s why we finished it as quickly as we could.

I can write the journal in the company again because the small project already finished. I find programming is not a bad job. I was happy when I programmed a function successfully, after you thought it over, changed it and tested it. It might repeat several times then you find it can work.

Summer is precious in Canada. Many persons choose having a vocation in summer. Camping, fishing, hiking……. I think one reason is summer is the best season to travel because the weather is pretty good. Another reason is the students’ long summer holiday. The parents can have a trip with their children. One of my colleagues has a vocation to go back to China with her son.  Even the children in the daycare have more trips. They go outside by school bus, all in red cloths. Just like today. I saw they were so happy. However, my daughter can’t go outside because the kids in her class are too young to go outside.

How about your summer vocation? I like camping and hiking. However, my husband said my kid was too young to have these activities. Maybe we can do it later. This weekend’s activity is going to Toronto zoo, learning driving and taking a training course. A busy weekend too.

Many Chinese like to use own washer in their own apartment. Even sometime the small washer is not allowed in some apartment buildings.

I think the public washer is ok for outwear after washing and drying. Don't be afraid of using them.

some corrections for you:

Today there was a BBQ in [url=]our[/url] (replace the) office building. Every person working (simple word) in the building could (past parse) join it. There were some vegetable salads, Sandwich, Hot dogs and Sausages (better than BBQ meats), fruits, cookies and so on.  They said it was not as good as before due to budget (three words replace the following sentence).

There were 24 tables in the extended balcony of the building (change the order). Our colleagues sat together. Some persons played the music in the front (where front? hard to understand). Some persons wear the masks (face mask or robes?) to join the BBQ.  Another activity was door prize (always say door prize). Our supervisor (better than boss) got one, 25 dollars. The highest one was $400.  

It’s too warm (better than hot) to sit under the sun without any shelter. That’s why we finished it as quickly as possible (we could).


The main idea is still there, I just made some grammar and vocabulary changes.

Since you have finished couples of articles here, right now you have to pay attention to your sentences and words organization. Otherwise your writing may just stay in the same status and will not increase further.  

Also grammar is important for writing improvement.

I totally agree with you. Just writing is not enough, I should read more. Otherwise I'll fall into bad habits in speaking/writing English.  

For me ,it's difficult to read the Magazine and News papers. I need to spend almost one hour to read an short essay. I don't know so many words. Reading an article everyday. It should be in my schedule now.

Do you have any comment for me on reading? Thank you!

Before you read, prepare a notepad.

You can read any kinds of material, such as newspaper and magazines. In the beginning just focus on one topic, then mark the sentences you think it perfect, write it down in your notepad. The more you read, the more you wrote. After you wrote one book, the good sentences and vocabulary may come to your mind automatically when you want to write an article.

Keep reading makes your reading and writing much better than right now.
