yes,I  love outdoor activities very much. We usually go out for a short travel  on weekend in China,and we have droven to a lot of beautiful places far from our living city about 700 radius. While driving,while enjoying the wonderful scenery and centuries-old history of China,of course , the most important thing  is  relax ourselves by this way.
I do want to join  the team for picking cherries with you . I have been to Canada for two times,each time is in summer,I love summer best,but I have never try to pick  cherries and have no experiences in similar activities,so I am eager to do that.
Anyway,I will be there soon.

how much to pick cherries in canada? it is very expense here. if we buy cherries in the market, it costs about 30rmb per kg, but it will cost 100 or more to pick in the orchard.

We plan to go the E.D. Smith "pick-your-own" cherry farm. It’s the web address: http://www.edsmithcherryfarm.com/index2.htm. The price of the web page is here: http://www.edsmithcherryfarm.com/pckyourown.htm .


Everyone 13 years and older must purchase a pail. Children 12 years and younger are admitted free. According to the web page, we should at least pick up two pails. It cost $20 for about 5 lb. The pail is bigger then the price is lower. The price is from 2.07/lb to $4.00/lb.

I tell you two good ways to pick the cherries . I learned from the potluck.

1. How to choose the cherry tree. There are too many trees in the farm. When you taste too much, you don’t know which one is better. You can see the ground under the cherry tree. If there are many cherries on the ground then it’s better. Because somebody pick some cherries but later they find the cherries in this tress are better. So they will throw the old one and pick up the new one. To avoid waste we can observe it first.

2. How to put the cherries more in the pail. If you put the cherries in the pail too much,
just like a small hill. The pail will be asked to pass an access where have a stick on the top. When the pail pass the hill will change to flat again. How to put the cherries more? You can get a pair of scissors when you pick the cherry. Cut the stick as short as possible. But don’t cut all otherwise it’s difficult to keep fresh. But how to eat so much in one week is a problem.

In the farm you can eat as much as you can. But be careful one thing: diarrhea. Some one made a joke that we had both lunch and dinner with cherries, I am a little afraid to do that.

I had already bought cherry three times last week-end at about 3.00/lb because my classmate's family love the cherry very much. After having finished the third pack of cherries yesterday night, nobody would like to eat more in a couple of days.

Besides my classmate bought four lobsters yesterday. But I don't want to eat it, so they have to finish the four lobsters by themselves. The couple said they won't try any more this week.

I think whatever we do,there should be a bound,especialy eating! Otherwise ,it would be more troubles.

In my daughter’s class, a kid will give others a bag of birthday gifts on his birthday as a way of congratulation.  My daughter’s birthday is coming. So I should prepare some gifts for her classmates on that day. I bought some gifts yesterday, books, pens, small cars, the toys of blowing bubble and some very small toys. I divided them into nine equal parts. Every kid has one bag. I hope they will like it. But I am not sure if I should take a birthday cake to the classroom on that day. In the past, I received the gifts but I don’t know if there was a birthday party in the classroom on that day. Maybe I should ask the teacher about it.

Now my daughter uses more sentences to communicate with us. Now she always speak ‘give something to you’ (in Chinese) when she ask us to give her something. I tried to explain the difference between ‘you’ and ‘me’, but I find it’s difficult. So I just correct her instead of explaining. She will correct it immediately, but next time it is again. It’s cute. I think sooner or later she will know the difference.

Yes ,I think it is cheap. But my husband think it's expensive, that's why we still don't make a decision. we are poor

But I think we will go there, we can cost only $20 for it. The process of picking is fun, especially with my daughter.

You'd better ask the teacher. Anyway, keeping good communication with the teacher would never hurt.

Yes, I am not alone these days. My classmate's family is living at my home. Her husband is a good chef. I am enjoying good diner everyday night.

Don't worry about your kid's confusion. My daughter used to be that when she was her age.It is very normal to kids like your daughter's age.
It must be a sweet and precious memories for your daughter.

This morning I thought ‘ Oh , I am so busy’. There are so many things everyday: Working, taking care of the kid, cooking, cleaning house, learning English: writing journal, studying in  linc class and trying to save more time to memorize the words and watch TV. Do you think I am busy? However, when I think about the persons around me, I find I am not busy, even I can say I am leisure.

Today I want to talk about two families in my daughter’s daycare. If possible, I’ll talk about other 3 persons next time. They are all busy persons.

One studied in American before. Now is an accounting. She has a daughter, so she does the same thing I need to do. But she still has many exams which should pass one by one. When her daughter sleeps she will study to prepare for the exam. She had an exam several days ago and next exam will be in September.

Another is really a beauty. Although she has two kids, she has a nice figure, with lily-white skin. She is a nurse. I wanted to study nursing before. But I gave up. Because it’s difficult to finish school and it’s a busy job. Many times you should work at weekend or night if you do this job. But she do it. At the same time, she has two kids to take care.  it was rainy Yesterday. When I collected my kid I saw her, with a little baby in one hand, an umbrella in another hand. And she collected her bigger daughter in the daycare. She is a competent beauty.

OK, time to work now. I’ll continue the left next time.
