I am learning to cook Chinese food now in order to enjoy the new life in Canada.Although some of the western food have nutrition ,but I think most of them are not beneficial to us,especial to Chinese people. We are come from a big country which has a long history of diferent delicious food,why not carry forward them?
Though I seldom did some cooking before,but I should change the part in the future,I should learn to cook delicous Chinese food,of course it is for my whole family member's stomach.
Eat well is an  important thing in life,then enjoy the life.
Most of time enjoy Chinese food, western food occasionaly, life will be more happy!

Yesterday my boss asked me how about my English. He said I needed to improve it. The new task needs more communication. Oh, yes, that’s a big problem, at least I should understand what people are saying and I can express what I want to say. In that time what I can say is:’ I am improving it, I take an English class in evening now.’

In fact, usually I can’t speak sentences clearly. When I want to say something, I find at least there are several words I can’t express. I can’t find other words to replace it. So what I can do is use my hand language to help.  It seems I don’t have any progress during this time.

I spent so little time to study English. it is just 3 classes a week and a diary a day. To grasp one language, it’s still far from enough. I review that I spent too much time in chatting in internet. I need to read the essay written by XianYun again. Why success always follows the person like him.

I admit that I do have some good luck, you're lucky too. To improve my English and French, I watch French programs before 9pm, while watch English programs after 9pm every night. I can see my progress gradually. As a matter of fact, I always watch TV with my computer in hand, because I need to look up some words in the electric dictionary from time to time.

Maybe you can try the same method.

I can see you have made big progress in English from your English diary.You must grasp English well in a short time by your strong willpower.
I should learn from you ,I have to learn English at first when I come to Canada.It maybe cost me a lot of time  on it.I have no courage to do any job unless I can express myself freedom. So I should learn English day by day,step by step.

hehe, I'd like to hear that.I think they must be very happy.
Although I may not be a good chef,but I should  try my best to cook. Frankly,It is really an interesting thing if you do it for the favourate people by heart .

Last time we talked about the living expenses in linc class. I find my expenses is the lowest in the class. I would like to share my experience to you :)

Today, I want to introduce the network provider and telephone agency.

I chose one internet agency after I asked a question in the forum which agency is the lowest. I applied it in internet directly. It's the web address:http://www.acanac.ca/, You can check the items in the web if you are interesting in it. I used ‘Residential ADSL Service’. The first year is $18.95/month, the extra fee are for ‘dry loop’ and for the modem. ‘Dry loop’ is just a telephone line without phone number for someone needs internet service but doesn’t want to install a telephone in the house. The fee is $8/month. And the fee for modem is $49. You can return it and take the money back when you stop the service. So I spend $27 for internet every month. But there are two disadvantages. The service is not so good, some times it will be offline and you need to restart the modem. But the price is low, so I think it doesn’t matter. Another disadvantage is the special is for the first year. Maybe I’ll change another agency one year later because my husband found Bell had a low price service too, just only little higher than this.

I recommend the telephone agency ‘vbuzzer’ to you because it really saves a lot of money. It only costs $50/year. Toronto call is free. If you want to call other areas, you can check the rate in internet, it's cheap. I check the price for the same service in Rogers company: Basic phone line without calling features is $21.95/month. So if you are interesting in it you can apply it in internet. It’s the web address: http://www.vbuzzer.com/. But there is one problem. If you don't buy a special router which can connect a telephone, it can only be used in your computer. We bought the special router. It costs $60. So we can use it just like a normal telephone. The router is bought from other company. If you are interesting in it I can send the information about the router to you later (because I don’t know now, I need to ask my husband for it).

I will come to Canada  earlier next month. I hope I can enjoy my new life in new country. Everything will be started from beginning. A really new and large challenge for me.Fortunately. my husband  always encourages and helps me to face new life, so does my daughter.So I made the big decision to give up my well done job and good relationship to diferent country for diferent life.That's all,I want to live with my family together after all. It's must be more happier than before.

Yes,I will try my best. I must be a good chef if my family members enjoy my cooking whether the food is really delicious or not.I am not a professional chef at all,just an amateur. I think they would be  understanding people.

Thank you for your kind words.I do get ready for the new life in the future.The first  and the important thing is change my role as soon as possible. A full time job woman turn to a full time houswife or a full time student is a big challenge to me.I have already gotten ready to accept it in my mind,it also need time to turn into the reality,I should adapt and enjoy the new life.

Good time for landing. Good weather, good mood.
Summer is suitable for outdoor activities very much.

Cherries are in season when you land. We plan to pick cherries in early July. But it seems a little bit crowded for time for you. There are a lot of things you need to do first when you land. But it doesn’t matter. Summer is a season for outdoor activities, if you want to, there are a lot of activities later :)

We took BBQ and potluck with the internet friends again yesterday. Most of them have been in Canada for several years. So many topics are about buying house, educating the kids, buying the good things with less money, etc. The Toronto house price is higher again. Offers were waiting for you before but now it seems opposite again. Anyway, I have no money now. I’ll wait

It’s a busy and happy weekend. But I regret a little because they suggested me don’t prepare the same food for BBQ again. I prepared the tentacles of the squids but later others told me it was of the octopuses. As a result, it tasted not good. In fact, I ate it before in my colleagues yard BBQ, it was delicious. I don’t know why it tasted bad this time. I should ask how to make it today  
Another food I prepared is sour white radish, it is a little better. At least it is eaten up. In fact, at last almost all foods were eaten up because we ate from 12:00 to 4:00 pm.  


Btw: XianYun, Do you want to join the team for picking cherries? I still don’t make a decision because it need take one and half an hour to get the cherries orchard. It is near the waterfall.

I am pretty busy these days because one classmate's family landed Toronto on last Friday. They are staying at my home now. I am helping them to apply for Social Insurance Card, Health Card, etc.

By the way, I prefer to join you after my wife and my daughter come. It's not so funny for me to go pick cherry alone
