我来和 Eric 探讨探讨这个问题。首先看看职业定位网站的职业分类大项：

只有红字部分才是我们一般概念中的教师职位，其它的也不沾边了。其中：
4121 基本囊括了大学教授的所有职位，如果你还不是教授级别，就不要考虑了，不过也有例外，如果你是 teacher - teacher's college（师范教师）、university instructor, engineering（大学的工程学讲师），也可以考虑；>>View all titles
4122 专上学院、大学的助教，助研人员，也就是配合教授教学和研究工作的人员吧，总之职衔上是有个 assistant 的，可以考虑；>>View all titles
4131 专科学院、专科学校的专业课教师或系主任，也就是说，基础文化课的老师比如语文、数学、英语、政治之类教师不适合，因为这个代码只属于“技术类”的范畴，但如果是语言学校的英语教师是可以的；>>View all titles
4141 普通中学教师，无论什么科组都可以；>>View all titles
4142 小学教师，无论什么科组都可以；>>View all titles

可以看到，所有中小学、专科院校、大学的教师都能找到可以移民的职业定位，只有少数比较“尴尬”不肯定的职位需要往别的类别靠一靠，比如专科院校的文化课教师可以理解为学院里“中学教学部”的教师，大学的一般教师可以理解为助教（professor assistant）或助研人员等。
综上所述，说“教师不可以移民”是一个误传，而且我知道，这类误传往往因为大家对加国移民法不熟悉而越传越真，甚至很多成功移民的教师现身说法，也不足以驱除大家心中的疑惑。所以，我希望从这个帖子的分析方法，和大家根据自己的判断力认真的分析判断，让大家对自己的职位确认信心，和准确定位。

1.有关4131的职业定位

这里的English as a second language teacher (ESL) - college level必须是语言学校吗？English as a second language 在加国只能是语言学校提供吗？

在这段话,这里的academic subjects 指的是些什么科目呢?我觉得可以指基础课,但还是不确定。
2.如果要把基础课老师归入中学教学类，那代号又选什么？4141吗？但是我们这一类又没在中学，那将来提交受雇证明的时候能被接受吗？
