Linda	Almost four months. And I have more happy news. I had my first sonogram yesterday and found out that I'm carrying twins !
Bob	Twins ? Well, what do you know ! You and Brian must be ecstatic !
Linda	Oh, we're elated ! We weren't expecting twins at all.

To be expecting - to be pregnant

Example : She shouldn't be lifting those boxes if she's expecting.
