The key industries are currently centered on Agri-food products/services, Agriculture, and Automotive. The Windsor-Essex Region is the automotive capital of Canada and a strategic North American centre for automotive parts and equipment.Over 500 auto-industry related companies are located here. The Machine, Tool, Die and Mold industry in Windsor-Essex accounts for 10,000 - 14,000 highly paid skilled jobs. Analysis shows that there will be further contraction of this industry in the coming 3 to 5 years where an additional 18 to 25 shops will close in this region.

暂时还没有搬家的打算，在多伦多住的挺舒服，邻里关系很好，孩子上学也方便。另外，我们所住的这个neighbourhood华人占绝对多数，其他种族在我们这个社区是少数民族，感觉很爽

这个帖子只是想给即将登陆的同志们一个参考

Hamilton – Canada’s Steeltown

About an hour's drive from Toronto, named for George Hamilton, who settled land in this area in 1815, the city has the eighth largest population of all Canadian cities and remains the fourth largest of all Ontario cities, preceded by Toronto, Ottawa and Mississauga.
Hamilton is home to four National Historic Sites, including Dundurn National Historic Site, which features the completely restored Dundurn Castle and Hamilton Military Museum. Durndurn Castle was the elegant 1830's home of Sir Allan MacNab the Prime Minister of the United Province of Canada; The Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology; Whitehern Historic House and Garden and Battlefield House Museum (Stoney Creek).
