Watched situations on TZ's of 227 new policy, seems HK consulate has started to process applications late last year (applied Sept. 2009).
So, even if the VISA officers spend all their efforts on 227 newest policy, such new cases should end soon. And they should begin to deal with 9/1 cases.
Our waiting should not be much longer.
My guess is after the world expo this year.
Desperate applicants shall have some faith and confidence!
