Eagles 乐队的成名作就是其第二张专辑《Desperado》（亡命之徒）。这是一张建立在乡村乐基础上的概念专辑，以十九世纪末美国中西部的法外之徒为概念，包括几首他们最有名的歌曲。整张专辑大概讲述这样一个故事：1880年的美国西部，21岁的杜林-达顿（Dooling Dalton)由于误人歧途而触犯法律踏上吉凶未卜的征程。
