读College\university\master\doctor的雅思成绩分别需要多少

漫长的等待，91新政的第一批，到现在没有任何消息，终于下定决心静下心来考个雅思成绩放着备用！
只是不知道考了个成绩到底会有多大用处？
是不是有了雅思成绩就可以不上语言课直接上个college 什么的了？
读college \university\ mater\doctor 的雅思成绩是否要求的不一样，越来越高吗？
我知道申请不同的学校具体要求会不一样，我指的在一般情况下。
有了解情况的XDJM指教一下，也好给自己初步定个目标。

各个学校各个专业都不一样，想申请哪里的，就去网站上查。各学校网站提供信息详细程度不同，但基本入学要求都会列明的，再不明白了，联系方式总有个email的。
移民雅思跟学术雅思两码事，没有正规学院接受移民类雅思成绩

注，这只是个社区学院，不过医疗专业英语要求算相对较高的。除了纯粹理工技能类专业，正规院校基本不会低于这个要求

Faculty of Graduate Studies HANDBOOK on Master's Course-based Rules and Regulations
This degree can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis
Suitable for students not necessarily oriented towards research activity.
Requirements (in addition to Faculty requirements)

• an adequate background in Mathematics or Statistics, each applicant's background will be assessed individually.
• Students applying for the MSc program in Statistics should either have a 4 year Bachelors (BSc) in Statistics or Mathematics with some undergraduate courses in Probability and Staitstics, as to what these courses are, there is no particular requirement, each applicant's background will be considered individually.
• Normally, an Honours Bachelor degree, or its equivalent, in the subject of the division for which application is made
• Minimum GPA 3.00 (on a 4-point system) over the last 2 full years of Bachelor's
• Performance Level: MUST maintain a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 calculated on a 4-point scale at the end of each registration year and cannot have more than two grades of B- or below.
  

Full-Time StudentsTIME LIMIT: Minimum expected is 2 years and maximum allowed 4 years
COURSE LOAD: 3 half-courses per term, at least 6 half-courses must be at a 600-level and above
Part-time Students TIME LIMIT: maximum allowed is 6 years
COURSE LOAD:1 course per annual registration, at least 6 half course must be at 600-level or above

Required Courses APPLIED MATHEMATICS students take ten half course equivalents which must include two of AMAT 605, AMAT 617, PMAT 607, PMAT 613; and, in each of the first two years of their program, the seminar course AMAT 621
PURE MATHEMATICS students take ten half course equivalents which must include two of AMAT 605, AMAT 617, PMAT 607, PMAT 613; and, in each of the first two years of their program, the seminar course PMAT 621
STATISTICS students take eight half course equivalents which must include any three of STAT 701, STAT 703, STAT 721, STAT 723; and, in each of the first two years of their program, the seminar course STAT 621
Required Examinations Comprehesive Oral Examination (Written and Oral Components)

• Written Component consists of an essay (not less than 10 single-spaced typed pages)
• topic agreed upon between Student and Supervisor and should draw on techniques and results studied in student's course-based program e.g. the focus could be on a research article suggested by the Supervisor
• Examining Committee decides whether essay meets standards required by the Division. If not, the student may be informed of the inadequacies and given an opportunity to rewrite and resubmit the essay until a satisfactory essay is acheived
• Oral Component Exam should take place within 3 months after completion of all course-based requirements and after a completed and satisfactoryf essay is acheived.
• Student MUST pass this oral component
