From: ****
Sent: June 8, 2009 5:25 PM
To: BEJING (IMMIGRATION)
Subject: One concern about the method to transform part-time study to full-time study, thanks a lot!
Dear Sir / Madam,
I am wriing this letter to request your help to clarify the descriptions about the definition of the full-time studies.
As the definition in EG7.pdf, we can see that:
Note:
Full-time studies: At least 15 hours of instruction per week during the academic year.
This includes any period of workplace training that forms part of the course.
Full-time equivalent studies: If you completed a program of study on a part-time or accelerated basis, count the length of time it would have taken to complete the program on a full-time basis.

For my case, I obtained my master degree via part-time studies and totaol hours are about 560. But I am not sure if it is equal to one year of full-timestudy? In the above note, it just mentioned that we have to finish at least 15 hours for per week, but not clarify the total hours in one academic year. Could you please help to clarify if mypart-time study is equal to one years of full-time study? or share with me how to calculate the total hours for one academic year offull-time study? Appreciate it if you could provide a clarification, thanks in advance!
Best Regards,
****
