CBC needs to run more commercials, they obviously can't compete with the money they're making. Perhaps work in some broadcaster endorsements: Mansbridge eating a Big Mac, or maybe Ron MacLean drinking a Coke.
What is it with the CBC and their horrible coverage of the Parade of Nations? Mansbridge and MacLean babble like idiots about the countries which preceded Canada, and then COMPLETELY IGNORE the countries following so they can treat us all to cell phone static in one of those inane "Let's talk to an athlete" bits...has anyone ever heard an athlete say something which wasn't just a variation of "Wow, this is amazing! Hi Mom!"???
And the commercials!! They come back at the end of Spain's intro, Rafael Nadal is on the screen, and out "great" commentators are blabbing about nothing...
The CBC always has failed miserably with their Opening Ceremony coverage |
