关于我们这个小区所在的学区
我们家所在学区是
queen elizabeth (皇后伊丽莎白)已经建校97年了,快成百年老校了.有着良好的师资和声誉.设有初中和高中部,有天才班(就是这个班的学生可以直接报考美国的各大名校),卡城排名第2。小区有直达学校的校车,低收入家庭的孩子可以享受学校发放的免费月票。

Queen Elizabeth Junior/Senior High School is located in the northwest community of Hillhurst, serving students from the communities of Briar Hill/Hounsfield Heights, Hillhurst, West Hillhurst, Parkdale, Point McKay and St. Andrew's Heights, University Heights, MacEwan Glen, Sandstone Valley, Country Hills (South) and Sunnyside (optional).
In High School, Queen Elizabeth serves students from the communities of Briar Hill/Hounsfield Heights, Hillhurst, West Hillhurst, Parkdale, Point McKay and St. Andrew's Heights, University Heights, MacEwan Glen, Sandstone Valley, and Country Hills (South). Designated elementary feeder schools for the junior high program are Briar Hill, Hillhurst, Queen Elizabeth Elementary, and University Elementary. Designated junior high feeder schools for the high school program are Queen Elizabeth, and Simon Fraser.
About the School
The original school was built in 1910 and has undergone a series of additions and renovations to keep it up to date. Besides its academic classrooms and a comprehensive library, it has 2 gymnasiums, a weight training room, an indoor climbing wall, 4 computer labs, a dance studio, a theatre, a band room, a woods shop, a foods lab and a sewing and fashion lab.
About School Name
The school originally was named Bowview School but was renamed in honor of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
