hi! all, I sent e-mail to CIC to ask about the IELTS info . see below reply from them and may be useful info to you.

Please note that the onus is on the applicant to provide proof of language ability. Upon assessment of your application, if the officer is not satisfied you will need to provide further documentation.



For your information, IELTS results no older than 1 year (before the application is received) are acceptable. If you take the IELTS after having submitted the application, it is also acceptable.
