Dear All,



It's midnight now and I'm working on the paper editing of our project (still have not got the transcription of Lily and Joecy). I just wanted to tell all of you that as I'm going through the transcriptions I can't help loving these wonderful interviewees. It seems as though I were looking into each of these precious souls, being with them when their unique stories were happening... I feel like I had flied back to 1970s, to that beautiful medieval village near Venice, Italy, beholding all the angelic faces of Manlio's relatives, and all of sudden I came back to Vancouver, walking amidst all these couples of different colors... I would say I worship Professor Wendy Roth. Her lines are so powerful that my skin crawls, my body trembles and my heart throbs faster than ever... I almost wanted to keep all her lines in our film, but I can't.



I personally think our subjects have covered almost all the answers we need. I want to thank you, my dear brothers and sisters--Jaime, Tanya, Nathan and Praneel, for your remarkable work, your talents, your contribution to the film, and, last but not least, your help for me with my interviews. Please do not keep those trivias in your memory; as time goes by, only those good feelings linger.
