My husband and son went to US Embassy in Beijing for visa interview yeasterday. This was the question my son was asked in the interview. I thought he would say "I go to see my mom". That would be really sweet if he said this while what he actually said was "I go skiing"!@#$%^&*
I feel heartbroken. Nevertheless, they got the visa. Having heard my son's answer, the visa officer smiled and said "OK, I'll let you go there to ski."
So they will come to see me next February, and I'll have the power to decide whether to take our little young skier to ski.
