Do you have time?

I was asked this question by a black girl while walking on the street. I didn't know what she wanted  to do (my first reaction was she was gonna run a community survey with me), so I didn't know whether I had time or not, so I didn't know what to answer, so I guess I looked pretty confusing and asked "What?" She repeated: "Do you have time? What time is it now?"!@#$%^&*
