Went to court again today. This time it was the DC district court. The hearing today was a fun tort case. A worker was bitten by a bat while he was working on top of a building and got hydrophobia! So in the great American tradition, he sues his employer, the construction company for negligence. The company will have to show they are not negligent by proving that the risk of being bitten by a bat at the working place was not foreseeable before that bat had some special interest on the worker's back and suddenly had compulsion to have a bite
