I rent a studio apartment in Arlington, Virginia. It's fully furnished so the rent is a little high but I think it's just fine for short term stay. I like this place because the location is very convenient and the management is very professsional.

the apartment came furnished. i didn't buy anything, no idea where they got the lamps but i feel good if you say they are from ikea

you ask the rent? don't try to cause me cry. it's $1300

the lamp is same as mine at home.

I bought it in walmart.

the downside of attending this school is its location. it's in the city center and doesn't have its own campus. they don't provide housing for graduate students. apartement rental is expensive if you want to be close to the school. local people usually live in virginia or maryland and drive to the city center to work. housing there is a lot cheaper but you spend hours on commuting. i finally chose to live closer and pay higher rent in exchange of the time spending on the road and the troubles of maintaining a car. once i finish this program, i may think of moving...
