没有枫叶卡是可以考驾照的,拿BC省来说:
Licensing ID requirements
When you come into a driver licensing office to apply for, renew or replace your driver's licence, you must bring:
- one piece of primary identification, and
- one piece of secondary identification
Photocopies are not accepted. The only exception is a photocopy that is certified as a true copy by the government agency that issued it.
Note: If the name to be shown on your driver's licence differs from that shown on your primary identification (e.g., you have changed your name or are married), you will need to also provide linking identification, such as:
- a legal name change certificate, or
- a marriage certificate
Acceptable primary identification
- Canadian Birth Certificate (A baptismal certificate is not acceptable.)
- B.C. Identification card (digital style only. May not be expired more than 3 years)
- B.C. driver's licence (digital style only. May not be expired more than 3 years)
- Canadian Citizenship identification
- Canada Identity Card (issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs)
- Certain documents issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. These documents may not be expired:
- Study or Work Permit
- Permanent Residency Card or Record of Landing
- Visitor Permit
- Temporary Resident Permit
Acceptable secondary identification
- Passport
- Foreign Birth certificate (A baptismal certificate is not acceptable.)
- Canadian or U.S. driver's licence
- Naturalisation certificate
- Canadian Forces identification
- Police identification
- Foreign Affairs Canada or consular identification
- School ID Card (Student card)
- Bank Card (only if applicant's name is on card)
- Credit Card (only if applicant's name is on card)
- Vehicle Registration
- Picture Employee ID Card
- Firearms Acquisition Certificate
- Social Insurance Card (New style without signature strip not acceptable)
- BC CareCard
- Native Status Card
- Parole Certificate ID
- Correctional Service Conditional Release Card
