I'm a permanent resident of Canada who is highly interested in becoming an Armed Forces Reserve Member.
I have nursed an intense love for the sea and for navy since early childhood, as I always believe that I must have lived as a fish in the sea for many previous lives. I'm kind of well-travelled, and am adventurous, disciplinarian, energetic, enthusiastic, and always eager to learn, to take challenges and risks.
I have read your job description carefully and believe I'm very qualified for it. Attached please check my resume. Please do consider me seriously and carefully. I look forward to hearing from you very soon.

I note from your e-mail that you are a permanent resident. Except in very exceptional circumstances, the Canadian Forces only enrolls Canadian citizens. In the rare case where a specific skill is required and a position cannot be filled by a Canadian citizen, the requirement is that the citizenship application process has begun, and will complete in a relatively short time. I would invite you to reapply if you obtain Canadian citizenship.
Additionally, as you reside in Vancouver, if at that time you are still on the lower mainland, I would encourage you to contact the Naval Reserve division in Vancouver, HMCS DISCOVERY. We are located in Victoria, BC.
