Remembrance Day Ceremony~UBC This is an annual event at UBC War Memorial Gym. Over 1000 people usually attend. Music will be provided by the UBC School of Music and laying of wreaths will take place by several organizations connected with UBC. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10:50 AM with doors opening at 10:00 AM. The ceremony is expected to last 45 minutes in length. Parking is Free in certain areas up until 1:00 PM. Advisement regarding parking includes trying the lot located beside the Gym or the metered parking on Westbrook Drive. For more information contact UBC Ceremonies at 604-822-2484. Remembrance Day Ceremony~Victory Square Join the represented Civic Officials in this ceremony of remembrance at Victory Square, Vancouver. Located at Cambie and Hastings, this location has received recent restoration. In 1922 the park was named Victory Square, and in 1924 the Cenotaph was built. In 2002-2004 this site was improved with landscape and additions.
