工资扣除——法例规定雇主发给雇员薪金前，要在薪金内扣除下列款项：

有新年假及公众假期——雇员在工作满12个月后，可以得到最少两星期的有薪年假。不论年假是一次放或分两次放，除非得到雇主许可，否则在有资格放年假之后的10个月内必须放假。

无论是全职或兼职的雇员，都必须符合以下三项条件，才能享有有薪公众假期：被雇用了最少三个月；在假期前的四个工作周内，最少赚取12天的工资；在假期的前后都有正常上班。

分娩及父母假期——为同雇主连续工作满13周后，雇员可享有17周无薪产假，雇员必须给予雇主书面通知，以及证实其怀孕和预产期的医生证明。雇员可选择在预产期17周之前（或之后）开始放产假。如果雇员在产假期间发生难产、流产或婴儿死亡等事件，则应于事件发生后六周或产假开始后17周终止，以两者之较迟日期为准。雇员在返回工作岗位时，有权重做以前的工作，日薪金不得不少于假期前。至于父母两人，均可享有连续18周之无薪父母假期。母亲须于其产假或婴儿出生后开始其假期，除非她和她的雇主同意另做安排。父亲或养父母须于孩子出生或领养后35周内放父母假期。
