The National Energy Board's review of the Trans Mountain pipeline is coming to Calgary! Tomorrow the board will meet to discuss the project, which will create 4,500 jobs and generate an estimated $18.5 billion in royalties and taxes, according to the Conference Board of Canada.
As most of us are aware. there is a concerted effort on the part of heavily-subsidized environmental groups to stop the review process in its tracks. They want the government to veto the project immediately, not based upon its projected benefits, but because they are fundamentally opposed to Canada's energy industry.
And ordinary Canadians need to speak up!
When: Tomorrow, February 2nd, 9:00 AM.
Where: National Energy Board, 517 10 Ave SW, Calgary.
What: A rally to tell the NEB and the government that Trans Mountain represents a significant opportunity for Canada and to push back against groups who oppose Canadian prosperity.
Please join us and bring a few friends along. We'll have our "I Love Oilsands" gear there so you'll be able to easily show your support.
