What I understood the idiom" you reap what you sow" for the first time was from Bible GALATIANS 6:7-8 "Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow. If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit."

匆忙问了一句,可能没问清楚. 金兄,估计误会了:这啥问题, it doesn't make sense嘛.


说个真事,有次我家某人说要实践自然科学课老师教的内容,要种点什么.实在不知道有什么可种的.还好有点绿豆,人家就种去了.过了几天,没有动静,又过了几天,还是没动静.后来,又过了几天,高兴得blab around,我种的绿豆发芽了.我们一看,几棵草中长出一棵蒲公英.再以后,蒲公英还开花了.:-D


种瓜得瓜,是有因有果,天经地义.但是想问的是,英语中有没有反其意用之的表达,不如类似 有心种花花不发,无心插柳柳成荫.

够格了一下, 竟然有这么一句 Many things grow in the garden that were never sown there. 好像有那么一点意思.   :-D
