多讲几个词： 这些词都是报刊中经常出现的。

injunction n. 法院发的禁止令，强制令。约克区就向法院申请禁止令， 禁止公交罢工的人员阻碍bus 和阻碍乘客正常上下车。
deliberations n. 陪审团的商量，审议。
indictment n. 检察官提起的起诉书
verdict n. 陪审团的裁定
ruling n. 法官的命令
appearance n. 法律上是出庭的意思。

有个笑话
ATTORNEY: Is your appearance here this morning pursuant to a deposition notice which I sent to your attorney?
WITNESS: No, this is how I dress when I go to work.

商店的小偷叫 shoplifter
街上掏口袋的小偷叫 pickpocket
街上抢了包就跑的小偷叫 snatcher， 如 purse snatcher

趁着放假，多复习几个词。
这几个都有罢工的意思
strike
work-to-rule 这个消极怠工。
job action
work stoppage
walkout
walk off one's job.
lock out
但sit-in 就是静坐示威了，以前，NDP 的两个议员反对安省HST，就在省议会静坐，就是这个词。
