CTV最近做了一个很有趣的测试，他们同ICBC一起，挑选了一些在ICBC驾照考试笔试部分中最容易出错的一些问题，随机问了一些观众。结果是，不是每个人都可以准确回答出这些问题的……



一共有6道题，看看您能答对几道?

1) When the solid line of a double yellow line is on your side, are you allowed to make a left turn?
     A) Yes as long as you are not impeding other traffic
     B) Solid yellow lines only indicate rules for passing
     C) Only drivers on the other side of the road may make a left turn
     D) You are not allowed to turn left
2) A steady red light means:
     A) You must stop unless you are turning right
     B) Stop. After coming to a full stop you may turn right or turn left onto a one-way street unless a sign forbids it
     C) Stop, then proceed when safe
     D) Stop if traffic is approaching
3) If two vehicles arrive at a 4-way stop intersection at the same time and are facing each other:

我第二题和第三题答对。 第一题我选的D，答案是A.

1) When the solid line of a double yellow line is on your side, are you allowed to make a left turn?
     A) Yes as long as you are not impeding other traffic

司机左边是黄实线的时候，可以左转？  


也许魁省规定和BC省不同，我记得在魁省是不可以跨黄实线转弯的。

In Australia and Canada, a double yellow line in the centre of the road means that it is unsafe for traffic travelling in either direction to pass. It is usually found on rolling hills or through corners where visibility is limited.
In the province of British Columbia, it is against the law to touch or cross solid double yellow line at any time, even to avoid obstructions on the highway.[7] The only exception to this is when a vehicle is entering or exiting the highway, given a vehicle can safely do so without affecting the flow of other vehicles.[8]

这有一个在魁省跨单黄线超车被罚275刀的。
这倒霉蛋回家读了交规时候了解到下面三种情况可以跨单黄线，

1) Slow moving vehicle (Assuming that is must be appropriately marked)
2) Debris on the road
3) Passing a bicycle

In quebec the line colors do not matter, they are solid or broken.

You can pass on a continuous line IF the vehicle as a slow moving vehicle sigh in the back.

344. The driver of a road vehicle may cross a line described in section 326.1 providing that he can do so in safety, to pass a farm machine, a road vehicle carrying a slow-moving vehicle sign, a horse-drawn vehicle or a bicycle.

326.1. The driver of a road vehicle shall not cross any of the following lines marking off lanes:

(1)  a solid single line;

(2)  a solid double line;

(3)  a double line consisting of a broken line and a solid line, the latter being adjacent to the lane in which the road vehicle is moving.

In addition to the exceptions provided for in sections 344 and 378, the first paragraph does not apply where the driver must leave the lane he is using because it is obstructed or closed to traffic, or in order to make a left turn towards another road or a private entry; the driver must however assure himself he can do so in safety.


表示如果

司机可以cross

另外如果

司机可以cross前面三种lines.

最后一段非常重要，因为我每周购物都不敢pass黄实线左转进商场的停车场，每次都绕商场转一圈然后右转进入停车场。
如果
in order to make a left turn towards another road or a private entry 可以cross黄实线是真的，下次去购物就不用绕圈子了。

刚刚觉觉(小张已经于50分钟前睡觉了,打雷都不能吵醒孩子的),

每次从samifruits出来都是穿过路中间的黄实线左转。 觉得不太妥。 怕被警察逮到。
但发现很多人都那样开，也没见警察逮人。

看样子是符合前面说的

in order to make a left turn towards another road可以跨线？

真那样就好了，以后就不担心了。

进入停车场, 因为我看到有其他车辆这样左转的时候,
警车就在旁边经过,未被查处
所以每次俺也这么左转了.

他不带觉觉这么早的，平常这时候都活跃着呢。

我每次去lasalle的sami,都要左转跨过单实黄线,
进入停车场, 因为我看到有其他车辆这样左转的时候,
警车就在旁边经过,未被查处
所以每次俺也这么左转了. ...

第五题作对，下面两道题有难度。 不过也挺有趣的，也有用。


4)  When approaching a stopped emergency vehicle with flashing lights on highways with speed limits of 80 km/h or over, in     addition to changing lanes you must slow to:

D) 70 km/h

其实把速度从80降到70用处不大，如果撞上工作人员，或者提前刹车，都刹不住。 我选的是降到50，


6) The yield sign on a transit bus when it is signaling to enter traffic means:
A) You must yield to them where the speed limit is 60 km/h or lower


这道题的隐含意思是如果超过60的限速，就不用惯着带yield标志的公交车了。
