We had a falling out !!!

kind of 在口语里可做程度副词用， 当“某种程度上” “有点儿， 有些”的意思讲， 常用。 同样用法还有 sort of .

比如说，
I'm feeling kind of tired。
我感觉有点累了。

That kind of embarrassed me.
那个有点让我尴尬。

应该是：---------help sb do sth『呵呵』
