Notes on settlement - Buy a car
本帖最后由 断桥 于 2011-12-26 13:15 编辑Unlike buying a home, buying a car is more like a leisure reading. Shopping around, checking out these sexy toys is never tiring you out.
However, before you go ahead to wrestle with any a glib, sometimes gifted salesperson, make sure you’re eligible to own a car. This means you should have proper licenses and documents to get your car insured and licensed. A certified document demonstrating a clear driving history helps a lot to reduce the premium.
Brands preference, front wheel/all wheel drive, engine litre, fuel economy, trims, interiors, navigation are all possible factors you’re supposed to consider based on the weather condition in your area.
Do your homework - searching for dealers’ inventory, printing out the sticker prices, using online apps to compare the prices, all helps to finally get a bargain. The sticker price of a car is usually inflated. You can’t imagine there can be so many kinds of discounts the dealer has invented – seasonal discount, cash discount, employee benefit, you name it. So don’t even think about paying list price for a car, the on-the-road price should be $$$ lower.:-) Thanks for sharing! cheers, lincoln.
