PAYING IN CHINESE YUAN (RMB)

上月在北京开会时曾看见仪器展专区有关于ASCP国际认证的考试，还和工作人员聊了一下，了解了一下这个情况。
个人的几点建议：
1，这个考试目前来说可能并不会给大家带来什么样的好处，至少对晋升职称没有帮助，也不会算是你的学历。除非你想到美国搞检验，否则，这个证真的意义不大，至少现阶段意义不大。
2，考试是严格按照老美制定的范围考的，可以说，在一定程度上反映了老美对检验的理解。
3，考试是全英文的。
4，建议大家还是可以去考一下，报名费不是很贵（大概1200RMB，但是证书目前还没有有效期），证书虽然没有什么意义，但是通过这次国际化的考试来检阅自己的实力，促使自己的检验思维和国际接轨，这才是最重要的。
5，当然，茶余饭后还可以在不明真相的同行面前吹嘘下，说自己通过了国际认可。
另外有点比较重要的就是，如果你所在的实验室想通过CAP认可，那么你最好通过这个考试。
有时想想也真可悲的，泱泱大国，居然没有一个检验资格准入考试，还要借用老美的体系来帮助国人确认自己的身份。也许有一天，我们已经获取了ASCP证书，国际上已经承认了我们身份，但是国内依然不承认我们。-------让我想起了那个不是中国科学院院士，却是美国科学院院士的李爱珍研究员。
同时也希望LZ所在的团队能结合各方力量，争取让这个考试成为中国检验师的准入考试，至少应该成为职称晋升部门认可的一种执业许可证。只有这样，才会有更多的检验同行认识这个考试，参与这个考试。
从一个普通检验员的角度讲，十分希望这个考试能成为区分检验师和检验匠的考试，毕竟，吃大锅饭的日子应该结束了。

体检结束了。和大家分享一下：
提前预约，由于我们选了周六，因此只约到闸北区中心医院的（本来打算去长宁或陆家嘴的，长宁的9月份的周六全约满了，周日不开，陆家嘴的周六周日都不开，给其他TX参考），但来了就不后悔，这里的护士小姐很友善，告诉我们需要带3个人的护照原件及复印件，3份ME邮件打印件，每人5张护照照（宝宝最后只用3张），现金1450*2+500，没有既往病史的不需要空腹。
周六按照约定时间找到地方，指示牌做得很清楚，很好找，没有走一点弯路。等了10分钟左右就填表了。填完表等了一会就进去体检了。（记得体检时把3个人的护照带在身边，医生要核对的。）
换衣服、留尿、抽血、量血压、测身高体重、测视力、拍片，整个流程很顺利，30多分钟就结束了。
这里的护士小姐很专业，也很友善，抽血技术很高。医生也很友善。
体检结束后拿到一个回执。
这大概是迄今为止我最期待的、最昂贵但却巴不得赶快把钱花出去的、耗时最短的体检。

有人说ME后相当于看到了黎明的曙光，可我在欣喜之余却有些担心。我开始思索，究竟是3个人一起长登？还是我先长登，他们短登，1年后老公带着宝宝长登？
之所以有这样的担心，缘于：
1. 宝宝现在快4岁了，如果直接长登，需要找Daycare，据说不容易找到性价比高的地方，而且怕宝宝跟着奔波受罪。这一条应该是最根本的原因。如大家有无可供参考的经验之谈，还请不吝道来。一定洗耳恭听哈，先说声『谢谢』
2. 我们的很大一部分资金尚未讨回，一起长登恐这部分钱要打水漂了，而这笔资金对我们在加国的生活应该很有保障作用。不知道你们长登的时候备用资金情况如何？如方便的话，也不妨说来听听，这对于我们这些后来者是很有意义的。还是要先说『谢谢』
3. 登陆地点的考虑。我们最初的打算是多伦多，那时想得比较简单，多伦多是大城市，生活设施成熟，宝宝将来学校选择余地大。但看了些帖子，又发现大城市也有缺点，比如房价高、消费水平高、工作机会可能不多。我是学医的，初步打算是在加从事医疗相关行业，如超声技师或检验师，似乎多伦多的优势不是很大。真不知该如何选择才更好。还请知情者指点迷津。前人的经验与我而言是相当宝贵的。非常感谢！

有人说ME后相当于看到了黎明的曙光，可我在欣喜之余却有些担心。我开始思索，究竟是3个人一起长登？还是我先长登，他们短登，1年后老公带着宝宝长登？
之所以有这样的担心，缘于：

同感，现在我也在犹豫，本来考虑的是渥太华，因为有朋友在那里，朋友已经说在找到房子之前可以暂住她家，但是最近发现渥太华的房租太高，生活费太高，而且我LG是仪表控制方面的专业，渥太华不太适合。所以我们打算登陆一小城市先度过过渡期。

我在多伦多三周，感觉很好。虽然房价高，但租房并不贵，至少不比我们村贵。移民接待非常好，信息多。生活方便，华人用品齐全。是个登陆的好选择。但据说工作不好找。我在埃德蒙顿的同学说，他们那里有些在多伦多找不到工作，辗转过去的。

终于收到大信封了。DIY成功，将申请中的一些与大家分享：
1. 我是主申，3111，申请时已经改行，但不影响申请进程。
2. 申请时提供的资料里有的推荐人没有名片，申请时单位的推荐信没有加盖公章，这些我在解释信中做了说明原因。
3. 递BJ用招行双币信用卡扣款很方便，只需提供那个委托表并签名，值得注意的是，一定要将卡号与后面的3位数字写正确，有效期要足够。
4. 申请过程中换了工作，PER email里强调有工作、婚姻变化等均要主动通知使馆，故在RBVO后主动将换工作的事告知大使馆，将所有涉及到新工作的表格做了更新，还提供了新公司的工作证明，新工作的名片，但由于更新资料时我刚换工作不久，因此没有提供推荐信，在解释信中说明了情况。
5. 申请过程中直到收到大信封之前没有收到一封纸质信，所以之前提供的十多张特意精心制作的地址标签均无用。『大汗』虽然没用上，但地址标签还是要提供的，因为我们在ME信里又被要求重新提供地址标签（与递料时不同的是，这次要求全中文的地址签）。地址标签是我自己做的。文具店有那种A4的不干胶纸，用Word文档做好地址标签，再用不干胶A4纸打印即可，打印完之后，我把每个地址标签外圈的不干胶去除，这样如果VO需要，很容易就能揭下来一张用。
6. 关于照片：2个指南文件要求有点不一样，我按照其中的一个指南在照片后写了名字、生日等信息（具体有点忘了，『讨厌』反正按照指南要求写的），然后我将每2张照片背对背放着，装在小纸袋里（3个小纸袋是俺自己用A4纸剪成小张后做成的，很好用，不用去买）纸袋上写了另外一个指南文件上要求的内容，之后将3个小纸袋用曲别针固定在其它资料上）。
看有些TX要求重新提供照片并要求照片后不要写字，关于这一点，我的猜测是，照片后写字是可以的，而且更正规，哪怕掉了也不会被弄错。但要注意不能用水笔写，因为水笔会晕，把照片弄脏，最保险的笔是记号笔，因为记号笔是防水的，很快就干，不会晕了其它照片，另外，为了保险起见，最好将两张照片背面与背面贴着放。
我觉得VO看重的是我们的认真与诚信，资料可以不全，但一定要做出合理的解释。按照VO的要求，如有需要更新的信息，应主动做更新。DIY是个很锻炼人的过程，如果大家英文阅读没问题，建议DIY。
