我不知道大家对那几个问题更感兴趣，我好有目的的整理过来。
总的来说，9人中1人来过中国，占11%多一点. 去过中国的和没去过的观点会大不一样，所以我坚信我和他们的交流是正确的，让他们相信我们，不要相信他们的媒体不要相信他们的教科书。 Waiting for the next! 威版选的好题目，这些问题我都感兴趣，想知道美国的年轻人是怎么想的。 WAITING...『支持』『Canada-Flag』 期待！ 期待 好问题，期待中 这时网友们想知道的事，非常好的主意。

第一个问题我还真的问过很多人，答案和胡杨的很相似。
一半以上的人不去想中国的事情，因为政府替他们去想了。
美国人了解中国主要通过媒体和教科书，尤其是过去，现在的媒体比较过去而言对中国友好多了，20年以前的媒体几乎都是负面，共*产&主#义是绝对的贬义词，是敌人。现在好一些了，这是开放之后国际交流和沟通带来的益处。
我问过这个类似的问题： 我的问题2. What was your impression about China in the past? 他们的回答是：
answer 1.a controlled society where the government runs the peopleanswer 2.a place of ancient traditions and discipline practicesanswer 2 overpopulated What did your textbook tell you about China? answer 1.not much positive at all outside of electronicsanswer 2.honestly, there is so little mention about China in my experience of studies that I don't rememberanswer 2 very intelligent people Any positive and negative about China?answer 1.created misconceptions in the U.S. Media that make China out to be the enemy.answer 2.N/Aanswer 2 too overpopulated 关于第二个问题我觉得我们必须盯住历史不放。美国人不盯历史因为他们没有历史，而且在有限的历史他们没有吃过多少亏。 而我们要用历史来说话。因此在历史的长河里，我们都很渺小。目前强大的美国也是如此。 当然美国人的态度和胡杨说的是一样的，他们只是昂首向前看。 谢谢威版。『谢谢』

看过一些资料之后再从常识出发想想就推出结果，
例如：
假定美国现在是高中二年级，
中国是高一，正常情况下，高二记不住高一的情况，
而高一的学生却比较了解高二学生情况
一个月之后你就明白了:-D

恩，这下看明白了。 教授这是什么方面的研究？ 社会学？ 回来出成果了吗？ 在加拿大还是做类似研究？何不申请博士继续研究呢？ :-D:-)
