请教 持有效签证+剪角旧护照+新护照可否进入加拿大?
我在加留学,目前回国过年,因为护照7月即将过期,想在国内更换,而有效出入境签证和学习许可在旧护照上,公安局剪角后会还给我.持有效签证+剪角旧护照+新护照可否进入加拿大? 谢谢！[ 本帖最后由 nuaabill 于 2008-2-13 12:08 编辑 ] 是签证页满并已延期过不能再延期么，若只是申请延期的话是只需加注不需要更换护照的。

You have 2 choices:
1- You can appear at the Canadian port of entry with both a valid passport and a valid Canadian visa.If you have renewed your passport since your visa was issued you must carry both the passports with you when your travel; the passport with the valid visa and the new passport.
2- You may apply for a replacement visa at the Beijing Office. If you choose to do so please submit the following:
- The passport containing the valid Canadian Visa;
- Proof of payment for a replacement document: Certification and Replacement of Immigration Document $30 Canadian or/ 210 RMB. See: http://geo.international.gc.ca/asia/china/immigration/beijing/application-fees-en.asp;
- A letter explaining why you are applying for a replacement visa, containing your name, date of birth and clear contact details (telephone, email, and address in Chinese characters);
We endeavour to process visa applications submit in person in this category within five to eight working days. In all cases an application will be delayed if the Visa Office has to take extra steps to assess your case. Both the applicant and the invitor should make sure that the information and documents that are requested in the application kit are complete prior to the submission of an application. Processing times at the Beijing Office may vary due to the level of applications.Our office does not offer an express service.
If your circumstances have changed since your first application was approved please include this information by completing and submitting new forms and documents when you submit your application.

Hello, Sir,
I am a Chinese student who studies in Canada. Now I am in China, and my passport will expire in May,2008, So I want to Change a new one, the police tell me that they will give me a new passport and the old one will be cut a corner in the back page. My available re-entry visa and study permit is still in the old passport. So can I use the old and new passport to access Canada in this March? Do the re-entry visa and study permit still work in my cutted corner passport? Thanks!
