What an A+ is all about
Mar. 27, 2007I thought I don't care much about my grades because no one else would be interested in looking at them as long as they are good enough for me to graduate. What happened tonight proved that I actually do :-D
The Professor in Licensing class handed out the graded assignments tonight. I found that I got the first A+ grade in my law school studies. I knew I could expect a nice grade but I didn't know it's nice like this. I'm so happy.『开心』
The assignment was drafting of a license agreement. The terms of the agreement should be in accordance with the discussions in a mock negotiation session we observed in class. So to be able to have the right terms in your draft agreement, you gotta understand what's going on in the mock negotiation as well.
Before this assignment, I didn't draft any license agreement myself though I had reviewed some. To me, drafting a contract is a lot more difficult than writing a paper or legal memo. It calls for a high command of written English because you need to give the contract terms precise meanings in concise language. The task wasn't easy, but I liked it. I know I have learnt something when I'm up to the challege. That's what an A+ is all about. 『Canada-Flag』

I don't recall I was ever rewarded anything like A+ in my previous study history either.:-D

Hi, Wondering, So great a grade you got, congratulations. I have been interested to read almost every paper you posed here. It is a tough job for any person to study laws in relation to IP and to be a lawye specialized in this area either in US or China.回复: What an A+ is all about

Actually, my family has settled in Cnanda since last year. However, I am still in China, although had a short period landing, maybe gave up the qualification being there, I can not see any development of career in Canada.回复: What an A+ is all about
Lucky you. The problem in my family is no one wants to be sent to Canada to keep our permanent resident status. So it starts to seem that the maple-leaf card is just a joke for us.『大汗』Anyway good to meet you here.『开心』
