Hi Monamis, no need to hurry ,take your time. The forum system is not a realtime chatting system, it works like a message board, everyone leaves his message on it and the others can come to look and reply later. So you are very welcome to come back to reply posts anytime.

Monamis, it seems that many canadians spent their youth time in eastern part of this country and migrate to Vancouver to enjoy the warm climate when they become old, right?
Thank you for visiting our web site.
Could you tell me when did u begin to touch the internet? Normally only young people visitweb forums.

denver learning doesn't stop till you are dead, if you have an open mind and you have an open heart, you can learn much, almost every minute of your life.
One never stops learning. and age is not a prerequisite.
i have been communicating with people around the world most of my life
i was in the navy as a radio oper , communicator ,telecommunicator and Diver.
i have spoke with many people,
i try my best to be open minded, and open heart, i try to treat people well, and am always eager to learn,
as for the computer itself , have much to learn on that, although i am not a novice, i know very little other than normal day to day use.
i would like to learn much more, and many thanks

There is much to learn, this is a country born and maturing with multi-culturalism well embedded in its blood. the way of life,
Canada and Canadians have believed for many years, in safe practice of sex, and not allowing the over population of the country. and with laws allowing such things as abor...
Thanks, Monamis.
I just left 2 hours for dinner and TV watching, you have replied so many messages!!!
Talking about Multi-Culturalism, I can tell when I send my son to school where his classmates are from different countries of the world, they learn how to respect other cultures from this early age(my son is 6 yrs), so when they grow up, the multi-culturealism is rooted even deeply in this country's cultrue.
I used to work in a Language School in Hong Kong teaching western people Chinese Manadarin, I had good time there because I could talk to other teachers who are from England, US, France, Australia, even Russia and Columibia, of course, some of them were from Canada!

i believe senior is as you feel, but usually over the age of 65 when one normally retires from work and heads in a different direction.
It is wonderful that you have the oportunity to help seniors and i admire you for what you are doing,
I am working, and have some time before i reach the golden age,
but i do serve and volunteer in many areas,
i am very busy is my volunteer work, and my participating in other social groups, that quietly and with out fan fare, assist many many people in Canada and the world as a whole
we do much for society,
must go for now,
hugs
and many thanks,

Hey Jessie, I was amused when Monamis asked whether you were a senior:-)
I was even more amused by your answer above, esp. the last sentence.
BTW, I am Joyce whom you met in FCH's home the other day, you still owe me my picture, oops, I haven't added you to my MSN yet. Will do, very soon. Take care and keep enjoying you life in the meantime!

65, good, that means i have a long way to go, i will follow you, haha...
I also admire you what you are doing, you know as a new comer, the biggest problemis my english, it exactlly keep me from doing better and more for others, but you are not only warm-hearded, but also professional, i have too much to learn from you.
I am working as a cashier here, and have another volunteer job as office assistant in a Neighbourhood House, give help to immigrate and refugees, sometimes really feel tired and busy, you know you have to stand there 6hs or more, and keep packaging as a cashier, sometimes it's almost 10pm when i go home, but I also feel excited, like volunteer job better. would you please give some advise and let me share with your experience in whole areas?
