I am outside of Canada and do not have a PR card. How can I return to Canada?We do not mail permanentresident cards (PR cards) to addresses outside Canada. Please choose the optionbelow that describes your case.
If your card has been lost, stolen or destroyed, you need to tell CIC.
Youmay also need a passport to re-enter Canada. Please see the Canadian BorderServices Agency website for what documents you will need at the border.
If you plan to return in a commercialvehicle, like a plane or busIf you plan to return to Canadain a commercial vehicle — such as a plane, train, boat or bus — you must applyfor a traveldocument at a visaoffice outside Canada before you return to Canada.
You should also check with thecommercial operator (for example, the airline or bus company you will be using)to see what documents they need.
If you return in a private vehicle, likeyour own carIf you return to Canada in aprivate vehicle, such as your own car, you do not need a permanent residentcard. You can use your Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or Confirmation ofPermanent Residence (IMM 5292 or IMM 5688) instead.
You would have been given thesedocuments:

按照CIC的说法，从美国边境入加，开自己的车加上移民纸和中国护照就OK了呢？在美国租的车能进入吗？
话说今天CIC上公布首次申请枫叶卡的时间是43天了。 不能去，而且枫叶卡必须请朋友回来的时候带回来，不能邮寄回中国。当时移民官就这么跟我们说的 不能够回去，但是你在入境的时候，在CIC办公室告诉他你可以做加急，PR卡可以通过快递送回国的。 不能够回去，但是你在入境的时候，在CIC办公室告诉他你可以做加急，PR卡可以通过快递送回国的。

『同意』 移民局是不会将你的枫叶卡寄回中国的。
为安全起见，最好也不要托你的朋友邮寄或快递这类证件。
