Man charged with assault after shop owner attacked in Vancouver


Suspect is known to police

Hobbs has been charged with assault and assault causing bodily harm on Monday night, but was released even though he is a suspect in two other cases, including the theft of an iPad at Gastown Tattoo's and the assault of a male employee at a Granville Mall shoe store.

"Unfortunately, at this point we can't provide information until someone has been charged with a criminal offence, but it's definitely something we'll look into," said Vancouver police spokesperson Randy Fincham.

Hobbs is scheduled to make another community court appearance on Wednesday. In the meantime, he has been banned from Tinseltown, and most of the tattoo shops in Gastown and on Granville Street.

我觉得店主得琢磨下，如果再遇到这样的行凶者该咋办。

身上容易掏的口袋里装个防狼喷雾器吧，

或者脖子上挂一个首饰一样的漂亮的防狼喷雾器。

在店里能用，在停车场等事件易发地方也能用。
