In Canada, Thanksgiving falls on the second Monday in October. The date is different from American's.
So Thanksgiving was on October 12 last year.
On Thanksgiving Day, my homestaymother drove car taking my friend-Joe and me to the north of Canada. We stared at 9 o'clock in the morning. That day was sunny. On the way, we saw beautiful colours of maple leaves. Bright red, orange and yellow... Wow! It's fantastic!
Originally, we wanted to go to Algonquin Provincial Park- It's Canadian's national park, but it's too far. So we only went Muskoka to see maple leaves change colour... |
