Don't know what is going on with your family back home. You know that my parents will be back in October. Let me know if there is anything we can help.
Like everyone else, we all chose to change in late 20s and early 30s. One of the thing that I was well aware of is that I will be spending more time on personal or career development to get to a comfort zone compare to the friends who stay at home. Even now I feel comfortable, but baby is still not on the schedule. I totally agree with you on what parents wish to offer to the children. I have read something from the newspaper and it said the average money spend on one child in US is $160,000 till the child is 18 years old, not to mention the skyrocking college tuition. In US, the average 4 years public university tuition is $40,000-$60,000. The increase rate for tuition in recent year is over 10% per year. The number is shocking! Good news is with the techonolgy, it is possible to have children in your 40s. Let's hope.
Thanks Irene, let's meet on MSN. |
